You put into words how I feel, slightly ambivalent about the result, I like to watch Final Score with the missus, normally I'm slumped down in my armchair as she makes puerile comments like "That's a good old Scottish name" when Forfar Athletics Abewango Azzizomimbi's name flashes up when he scores.....I sink lower and lower in despair but if Saints score (at the risk of her retorting "Dont be so stupid.....you're supposed to be ill" ) I'll be out of my chair, punching the air, screaming "get the f--- in!"
Any lead is a dangerous scoreline, you know that. In fact, throughout history, no team that's ever taken the lead in a football match has gone on to win. Don't fact check that, just trust me.

We were really good at Portman Road last season - maybe our best performance against any of the top eight sides other than Leeds at home - and never should have lost. It'll be interesting to see how big a gap has opened up between the two teams since then, because I'm struggling to see anything other than a comfortable home win today.
