He'd be best off going to Villa but that's not going to happen in a million. Man Utd want to change their whole philosophy and brand, they've been seen as a laughing stock for years. Jobe would definitely bring a positive brand
Don't think United is a good move for Jobe at all. I think Radcliffe is just the latest ringmaster to preside over the burning circus.
Exactly. Times have changed. It's about a Renaissance period and the potential rise that brings. Makes me sick just thinking about the nonsense.
Was it £40m Archie gray went for? Only played 40 games for Leeds and left in a summer window. Jobe nearly at 100 senior appearances now (70 for us). That’s the minimum region of price imo especially in a January window.
can’t compare fees with him, there was all sorts of jiggery pokery going on between Leeds and spurs and FFP
Archie Gray always gets mentioned when discussing transfer fees but he’s a cracking player with serious potential. His versatility is priceless too
Also, thinking about it, I don't think £20-25m is really enough for a late end of January bid for a young important player on a long term contract. If we were to sell I'd want them so far over a barrel that we can see soles of their feet.
Dortmund are a well run club. United are a basket case. I wouldn't be sending anyone anywhere near the place unless they were looking for a payday.
