EH was asked who was the most natural replacement for Murphy and he said "nobody" but then went on to say that Osula was a talented player and is capable of playing on the wings

Are they? Thought they just rejected the £54m bid, of they really come in with £90m, then the universe has gone mad and Brighton will snap their hands off surely.

If Eddie Howe is relaying accurate info that we've sold Miggy for PSR reasons and no-one's coming in, then it's difficult to imagine a time when a transfer window will allow us to build with a glamour signing or two.
We don't seem able to upgrade by selling to buy.

There's a few days though.

 

It will only really start to accelerate through mega commercial deals, like stadium naming rights, or by selling one of our 'star' players for lots of money. Otherwise it's a slow build.

Unfortunately you can't just say that's going to be the case heading into the end of this accounting period... You'll either have to sell players last minute or accept a points deduction and that will impact us more than waiting until July.
