I somehow watched an episode of survivor season 1
And it got me thinking

If the posters on here got put in survivor
Whats the outcome

Is big vern, leading logistics?
Ensuring rations are evenly spread out

 

Past experience sez that I'd do ok.

While big vern, chazz and syd argue about where to dig the latrine?

 

Considering some of our ages on here we'd have to do it in Hospital grounds.

If it would be anything like the Alaska one on Netflix, there will be a lot of well-meaning women and men over 40 at the beginning discussing rations, shelter building and communal jobs, then at the end some men in their twenties, who've gone part-feral, will win. Can't beat youth and gender when it comes to survival, not enough food, uncomfortable weather and sleeping conditions.

 

The Indo-European kóryos is alive and well thousands of years later when push comes to shove.

 

It would end up with a load of old people wearing animal skins eating meat sat round a fire in their shelter made from trees and bushes.

Meanwhile the under 30s would be sat shivering, naked, hungry, crying, outside waving their phones in the air trying to find a mobile network signal,

Ha, that what the kids call 'copium', Balkan. You and I could train and prepare for years and we'd still be out-survived by a 19 year old lad coming off the back of a ketamine and booze bender.

 

Didn’t mind survivor series but as a kid I Always preferred the royal rumble

 

lol that brings back a lot of memories from the early 90s lol

 

Having never watched the programme, and having no idea what it involves, I'd be sat bemused and confused.

Given all the practice I've had with that, I reckon I'm odds on favourite.

i expect i'd do okay. never had a panic muscle, which is a plus.
