    Trev must still be asleep.
I'll ask the nurse to give him a nudge.

Nice take. Personally, I think all the Italy clubs + City don't quite come level to Bayern, Barca and L'pool - what I mean is, would a player leave City to go to Bayern or Barca? I think they would. Also think Sporting, Leverkusen and Benfica go down a level or two. Don't think Monaco or Porto feature at all, they're both clubs for developing talent. Sadly, I still think Man U have more pull, no matter the mess they're in - have you seen the announcement on the 100k redevelopment of OT? They'll be back.

So my take from your list would be:

    - S Tier; L'pool, Barca, Bayern
    - A Tier; PSG, City, Inter, AC, Juve, Chelsea, Arsenal, Atletico, Man U
    - B Tier; Leverkusen, Dortmund, Napoli, Newcastle, Villa, Spurs, Atalanta

    Doesn't matter who's 'beneath' us!!

I agree with this, but I also think that the successes of a lot of your A tier clubs means that players would also easily go from Bayern to City, Liverpool, PSG etc. The finances available can make it attractive that the pull is not just on "desire for the club" <- can't think of the right word here.

There's been rumours that Vini Jr. actually wants to go to Saudi to get Ronaldo money and apparently their willing to pay Madrid over a billion to get him probably with assurances from Florentino Pérez that they'll return the favour and pay 400mil for Isak & Tonali which would allow us to do a rebuild on the squad:emoticon-0150-hands

They will just build on the current squad anyway.

    £12m? Dreaming indeed.

See Arsenal have bid for Watkins. Will they shut the **** up about Isak now?

Top 4 team central midfielder with champions league experience.
Why should we undersell our players?

Saudi league seem to be moving more towards younger up and coming players, not just the big names taking their final fat contract (like previous seasons). Seen a few mentioned this week. So they look serious about growing the quality of their league long term.

We sold Anderson for 30m and Longstaff is a better player……..

    I can’t keep a straight face.
