@humanbeingincroydon this is probably something you can answer. We are reportedly loaning Yang to QPR today. Last I checked, regulations allow up to 6 players out on loan. We're currently at that limit: Hojbjerg Gil Solomon Veliz Devine Phillips How's this going to work? I wonder if one of them is about to be recalled?
I wonder what Fraser 'Bloody' Campbell is up to these days? If thinks it's beneath him and the pay's too ****, maybe Leandro Damiao? At least we'll "have tried" properly, then.
Doesn't the limit of six only count international loans? I didn't think there was a limit for English outgoing loans.
Unless FIFA changed the rules again, the rules say seven loans in or out, which is where PSG came a cropper a couple of weeks ago as they had Xavi Simons, Nordi Mukiele, Renato Sanches, Carlos Soler, Juan Bernat, Lucas Lavallee and Cher Ndour out, and only fixed it so they could loan out RKM by cancelling Bernat's contract so he could join Villarreal on a free
Ali Gold: Yang Min-hyeok set to move to QPR today on loan. A chance for the 18-year-old to get experience of the pace and physical nature of the English game at a lower level, and you'd hope means Spurs are confident of bringing in an attacker in the coming days. ————————— Bless you, Ali. I used to have that optimism too… Beautiful, happy optimism, great times.
We've apparently opened talks for both Mathys Tel and Yoanne Wissa. Wissa will be the 'we tried sorry' one. Tel might happen, although he apparently prefers United over us.
Romano has claimed that Tel is our top target. We've also opened talks with Milan for Noah Okafor. I'd prefer Tel tbh, higher ceiling and I'm sure Kane would have a word with Daniel if the kid's rubbish.
Silly season has finally started lads. Strap in for four days of relentless tweets including the words 'have enquired', 'are investigating', 'ask to be kept informed' and 'are trying to secure'.
Romano and Moretto both linking us with Noah Okafor Based on stats he has advantages, as he's a dribbly winger with decent passing so offers a chance to give Son/Mikey a rest and also an out if we want to cancel Werner's loan On the other hand he's been a bit of a sicknote at Milan and if you look at him now compared to when he was at G Fuel Vienna you'll conclude that isn't muscle he's put on in the last six months, so he looks like a body to add to the squad rather than a player
Tel's in Bayern's starting XI tonight, if that means anything. Bayern need a win if they've got any chance of finishing in the top 8, but they'll definitely make the play-off either way. Home to Slovan Bratislava, so it'd be a big shock if they don't win.
Milan fans saying Okafor would be payback for Emerson so I think you can tell how much they rate him… he simply joins that glamorous list of Muani, Brobbey, Igamane and Embolo. Tel would be an interesting signing as he’s one of Europe’s highest rated forwards but equally I really feel we need that immediate injection of quality more so than someone that may need time. Also unsure if his departure from Bayern would be a loan or perm, if the former then we’d simply be helping Bayern out more than anything. Wissa’s a great player but no way Brentford sell for anything less than around £40m. If as some on here have claimed in terms of us being skint, it’s hard to see how that happens.
