I've heard we have contacted Ipswich and they and Jack are receptive to a loan, depends on if a deal can be struck in time, Ipswich likely want us to cover the wage and pay a fee, we will likely start negotiations at paying whatever we were paying him before he left with no fee.

Is this a factual link…. Or …. Is it something a few fans wish would happen

I'd be very up for this.

I completely understand the arguments against. Not for one second saying its an easy decision. But he improves us. Much lower risk than any other signing.

I’d take Clarke back on loan in a heartbeat. Strength in depth.

We'd have won on Saturday with him in the side. We'd probably have beaten Burnley as well.

Been working away last two days with no real Internet connection. The hotel room they stuck me in must have been lined with lead as there was no mobile signal and the WiFi was down <doh>.

    To that end anything happening?

Aye, equally reckon we would have beaten them and a few others with Watson or Mundle. There have been teams we just haven't been able to finish off and the attacking threat from any of them would have probably made the difference.

I know he has missed a few but Mayenda carries such a threat for me, really excited by his development!

Mundle on the right side would be fine if Clarke returns. It's not ideal but i'd be fine with it.

My only concern about it is when Watson and Mundle are fit we will have 3 quality LMs and lacking on the other side

Now if Mundle's injury is worse than they expected I'd be a lot more open to this

I just dont think we should be using a loan on a LM if Mundle and Watson will be back soon. We already have 4 loans and still need a CF/RM/LB

Watson Clark and Mundle aren't good on the RM imo

Clarke would be brilliant in our squad

but I’m ngl if Mundle is going to play a part soon and be fit, I think he offers us so much more.

I also think Watson although raw offers a lot of similar Clarke qualities whilst also being able to learn more

I love Clarke just depends on the timelines of their injuries for me

Tbf Watson would likely be loaned out if we reach the PL you'd imagine anyway. I would be all over it personally but do get the arguments from you and others. but to me we need the quality on the left, could take mundle a while to get back to 100% the way he was before the injury.
