The moan was about our usual frailties and I will agree we are sitting in a place today that might give us a shot at the post-season and that's damned fine by me. My comment was to highlight where indecision has possibly cost us a place higher up the table in previous years but now we have to hope that all of the activity is intended to clear out some questionable performers and replace them with much better in order to put us in a good position going into the final stretch home. The teams that hit a good vein of form going into the final weeks of the season are usually better placed to succeed. We need to be the team in that position because the view would be nice to witness.
We were always closer to the bottom 3 than the top 6 during that period. That has now changed, so despite the detractors, that is progress.
And so it begins -sky jorno -will he -will he not -could we be wanting to raise funds for a striker or two. please log in to view this image

What is going on with all this talk over loan outgoings when we need decent incomings if we wish to maintain a chance at the play-offs? I couldn't help but notice that Tinnion's name was all over the latest news about Sykes possibly leaving to join Stoke City and the more I hear about our dealings his name comes up consistently and I can't help but wonder is he the proverbial spanner in the works? Many on here have suggested in the past that Tinman was the possible cause of miscalculations in the transfer department and for me if he was involved in the Mayulu and Armstrong deals then he should be moved out. Our club has been consistently mired in bad decisions that regularly upsets the apple cart and we don't need a self appointed billy big balls strutting around thinking he knows it all and more. I am still waiting for the blockbuster deal for a player worth his salary and expectations to join us and if that doesn't happen I will then seriously reduce my already lost confidence close to nothing. We deserve better than this constant drone of promises which rarely come to fruition followed by poor performances on the pitch. Are we always going to be a club trying to find it's way in a dense fog of incompetence?
On 1 August 2019, Palmer signed for Bristol City on a 4-year deal for a fee believed to be around £3.5 million. He stated that the main reasons for joining were to gain more stability and play under manager Lee Johnson. Palmer was lazy and cost a fortune.
