Suspect Barry is to help ensure we stay up. Then Thomas more about the rebuild ready for next season. ? Barry for 18 months would be good still.
Now for overdue strengthening of our defence (as in added quality not numbers).
Fair play to Acun, not bad considering he's so clearly lost interest, going to sell, etc and maybe if we can just get a couple more quality loans in it might put to bed the myth that they only came because of Rosenior.

 

Selles talked about wanting a smaller squad, we need to ship some players out.

 

He could play either side at the back on Mount Rushmore depending on which direction you're looking from.

 

I think it's fair to say many didn't come because of Walter. And who can blame them in retrospect.

 

I was thinking the same. Seems as if for some reason we have greater pull in January windows than we do in summer ones.

 

Baz said a week or so ago that it was one or the other.

 

Summer prior to 23/24 we'd just finished 15th and weren't a very exciting prospect. Summer just gone we sacked Rosenior and replaced him with Tim Walter. I suspect next summer might be a bit better.

 

Someone on X said we may have an option-to-buy. I think that’s unlikely. However, if he plays well and we stay up, we could have him back for next season.

I read that he has played left back, not sure if this means he can play left back or not??

with Jacob, Coyle, McGloughlin, Drameh, Millar it feels like we have plenty of options.....but we could do with someone

Bedia and Racioppi for starters. Likes of Smith, Vaughan, Cartwright etc would be available on loan I'd suspect. Interest in Omur from Turkey perhaps?

 

Burstow? cant see him getting much game time now..

The Likes of Rocco, Andy Smith, Sellers-Fleming could do with going on loan somewhere
