I thought surfing would be a piece of piss.

    It isn't.

I would apply that rule of thumb to snow boarding.

Snowboarding is easy if you have skated, used ski's or surfed, its a piece of piss

Went on a dry ski slope once at school. What a horrible, soulless ****ing exercise that was. I got burned from arsehole to Wednesday each time I fell over. Which was often. My mate broke 2 fingers and ended up looking like the singing detective after one gruesome, acrobatic and quite frankly hilarious tumble.

Suarez. I hate that goofy **** even more now. The FA wouldn't charge him unless they had a rock solid, indisputable case that they couldn't worm out of. ****ing horrible little twat.

It's easy to prejudge such things but you just knew that the ****er had said it. It's written all over his ****ing horrible face.

Any of you boys watching the rugby league tonight? Should be a cracker.

    On a slightly different topic:

Gus Poyet. What a massive ****. He was a prick as a player and he clearly doesn't see the need for change.

I listened to the full interview on talk sport in the car last night. Clearly Uruguay is a very backward country.

I have had a great spotted woodpecker in my garden all day, got up this morning about 8, wandered into the kitchen to make a brew, looked up to see this magnificant species on the peanut feeder. took some photoes and video, will try and put it on FB, absolutely made up with it we are. just hope he stays around.

That's a good spot, no pun intended. Best we get are Nuthatches and occasional Goldcrests but both Tawney and Barn Owls are about at night.

    Geeks or what?

nowt wrong with being a geek Chops, so you've got gold crests eh? We bought a a niger seed feeder yesterday for that very reason, as we've got all the usual suspects in the garden we want something a bit more special, then low & behold that bugger turns up and gorges himself on the bog standard peanut feeder ..... very impressive it is too.

Really want some gold crests, and more finches though, but if old woody stays around we'll be happy with him, all magnificent in United's colours

We usually get Redwings and Fieldfares at this time of year, they'll be around soon.

What did you think of the match last night? I'm disappointed with the way United no longer go in for the kill anymore. We had two or three more gears we could have gone up, it's a about time they started using them.

we went out to las iguanas down the bay last night missed the match completely .... how plastic I'm I eh? :)

I was thinking of putting a surprise vist down your neck of the woods, till I was reminded we had a table booked for 6pm at the said restaurant for a friend's 50th, by the look of what I've read today I had the better deal last night.

it is really disappointing that United don't seem to frighten anyone anymore, especially after the lively start we had. January can't come quicker enough, we have a promising squad but that's all it is, we need some experience some umpth NOW!

Still can't get used to city now being the centre of attention from the rest of league, and where the hell all those back turning monkeys have turned up from thinking that they're chocolate.

back to wildife have you been watching Frozen Planet? I got a bit turned off by such programmes lately as there seemed to be of glut of them, they looked good with HD filming and aLL that, but lacke dsomething, but this series is top drawer! love it.

Well off to see if Woody has enough nuts before the light goes for the day. :emoticon-0111-blush

Indeed mate, it's you that's not been on though. Had a look through that disc of Kindle books you sent, enough to keep us going for a decade or so at least! I take it you just drop the actual file and not the folder it's in?

Arse twitcher tonight or stroll in the park? I vote the former.

What we could do with is a barnstroming win and if we get that I genuinely believe it'll kick start our season. A damp squib and we'll remain as we are, playing mundane football getting one nil wins.
