I think it's 2 with a strong dash of 1. Levy has snookered himself into a corner. I don't think he has a clue how to get out of it. I hope to goodness someone somewhere is generous enough to buy us. Enough is enough.
I got two very close mates who are spurs...one is 61 and the other is 65...both very patient... have a similar out look to me and both want a change now
Safe to say we’ve had a few changes of vote the last week: Pre-Everton the voting was 16-5. Post-Leicester it’s now 14-11!
The biggest issue is that this season's default tactics are pretty much last season's backup tactics: last season we had Johnson and Werner attack with pace and directness down the flanks while moving Deki to the middle, and that's what gave us a lot of late winners as we overwhelmed tiring opponents and had the players who could take advantage of it As we're starting with those tactics, what's the backup plan if those aren't working and/or opponents have sussed them out? Switch to last season's default tactics?
It has to be the Cups that is keeping Ange in post at present. Or simply we can’t find a replacement. I also suspect there’s a lot of work going on behind the scenes trying to get a replacement and until we do, Ange isn’t going anywhere.
I'd imagine the club is anxious to avoid a repeat of our traditional 6-8 week manager search during which candidate after candidate rejects us. Happened after Jose and again after Conte. That's when the toxicity really grew imo. They'll be hoping to move seamlessly from Ange to the next mug within a day or two, similar to the Poch-Jose or Nuno-Conte transitions.
Genuinely can not see a decent manager willing to quit their current job to take over. Our squad is so disjointed, our injury list would make Florence nightingale cry and we won't be able to bring in reinforcements.
Whilst far from ideal, I wholeheartedly believe that right now for the interim Mason will do better than Ange. My view of Ange - as a manager, not a bloke - is probably the lowest of any Spurs manager in the last 20-25 years. Completely inept, amateurish dunce in my opinion. So out of his depth I almost have sympathy for him.
Changed to yes. You don’t lose to Leicester at home because of the chairman. Notice Calvert-Lewis got injured yesterday after turning into messi last week. stood on the sideline again with his job on the line, no emotion. No shouting at the 4th official about the time wasting. Arteta is a prick but at least he seems to give a ****.
I've changed to 'sack'. Regardless of the injuries, today was just disgraceful. No plan, no coordination, no fight (except a couple of youngsters and Reguilon when he came on). The misuse of the players available is down to Ange. He has to go!
He was pretty passionate and vocal early on in his career here. It's just who we are, mate. We take a manager and bleed them of passion and belief until they are nothing more than an empty parody of themselves.
But this is his chance in the big time and he hasn’t won a league game in weeks. He doesn’t seem to care, I thought he was going to be great for us but you can’t lose with a whimper to Leicester at home when. Your jobs on the line. He seems fairly principled so cant see him throwing anyone under a bus and he may even walk.
I think he cares but hasn't got a clue how to fix the situation, which is his lack of experience getting exposed. He's seemed more despondent than angry passionate recently, I just think he ran out of ideas ages ago.
Every manager under ENIC`s miserable tenure has been given second or third choice players, and Ange has been no different. Ange wanted Neto and Eze, he was given Odobert and unready 18 year olds, Conte wanted Bastoni he was given Lenglet, Mourinho wanted Skriniar he was given Rodon, Poch wanted Mane he was given Sissoko etc etc I could go on all night. ENIC do not have the required level of sporting ambition, they never have and never will, we are stuck on this roundabout of misery until they disappear out of Spurs.
I’m firmly in the sack camp now, but I still won’t be changing my vote. I’ll be the last man standing in defiance of Levy
So there's a clip of him getting arsey with a few fans headed down the tunnel after the match He's done
I can't see the point in sacking him, just to replace him with another unsuitable chump, who will be sold the job on a sea of bullshit and gone within 18 months, when all the promises turn out to have been lies...again. If it leads to relegation, so be it. Ange in !
