I’m normally the most positive ****er going, I get ripped to shreds for it on RTG and twitter. But aye for me, there’s something not right about Patto lately and I really think we could do better

Possibly yeah, Mayenda definitely better through the middle as you say. Can't wait to get Watson and Mundle back we've missed them enormously, especially Watson imo. Get them back, upgrade RW and put Enzo in the middle and we'd be flying I reckon.

I think Patto has gone back over.

in league one, I actually thought he was braver, not he looks the opposite

Yeah, he’s out majority of weekends. I don’t mind social life’s but it feels like too much to me

Can we put it down to Patto still being young? But even Blondy was making better saves in the u21s.

Patto flaps and out of the top 6/10 keepers in the championship he’s the one that I would say rivals Meslier for dodgyness

It's short term memories tho, Blondy has looked pretty dodgy for the U21s but he had a stormer against Benfica so gets hyped up

Patterson has a bad game yesterday so folk start thinking Moore should start with Blondy as back up. Patterson was class against Derby and he was good against Burnley as well - kept 2 clean sheets and deserved them.

I am in the Patterson hasnt kicked on camp but he's not as bad as some are making out - i think we sometimes get annoyed as he could be so much better

Now if the stories are true that hes out on weekends then I think that needs cut out if he's to kick on

Watson looked so bloody good. Pleasure to watch. Mundle was a beast, different type of player, but also brilliant to watch.

I mean patto isn’t Lee camp lol. He’s a solid championship keeper and looks sufficiently better than Moore imo. Changing a keeper through a season is a big risk. Patto hasn’t kicked on to the level I thought he could yet (still really young for a keeper) but is fine for where we are now, can’t back it up but I’d imagine he’s won us more points than lost this season. One to review in the summer I think.

probably shouldn’t rate players on a handful of appearances, but to me Watson looks the most promising winger we have even potentially better than Clarke, he moves faster and better with the ball but his only downside at the moment is his lack of physical presence, that’s why I would rather have Mundle in there at the moment

Blondy has looked very good every time I have watched him tbh its the other keeper Chibueze who looks way below par. But now is not the time to drop Patto, if their is a drink problem I am sure it will be sorted one way or another, and its in everyones best interests that Patto sorts it out, not keyboard warriors like me.

Squad feels rather bloated, if we’re thinking about going to add some serious competition in. Especially with the centre mid numbers and that we usually will play one uptop(isador)

Pretty much this. Not a chance I would think of dropping Patto this season.

In the summer however, I think there's a case to move him on.

If we get promoted, we need a better keeper. If we don't, there's an argument that the squad will need a rebuild (Several loans plus Jobe and potentially Rigg leaving), and in that case I'd be tempted to go with Matty Young on the basis that I think he'll surpass Patto quite quickly, even if he's not quite at the level to begin with

You are right mate , I have watched him a lot and he is a flyer , and a natural finisher . What more can you ask of a wide man. just a shame we haven't a similar profile on the right wing .
