I agree. I love Dan Neil (In a fan/player way) Can I add to that? If Samed is a champions league cdm and named in the Ligue 1 team of the season in 2023, can we all appreciate that he will get better and more influential when he gets up to full fitness, which could be crucial in the run-in?
Poor. We played the bottom of the division. Defeated 0-5 at home. We frankly were lucky to get a point. They had all the main chances. It's negative. It's ok. Doesn't mean we are all crap fans. It's was a **** performance
they came here looking for a point, they are doing exactly what i would expect a team in that position to do...defend and try not to lose rather than going out for a win so i personally think they played a good game but when we went ahead they started to throw caution to the wind to try and find an equaliser and that is exactly when we should have gone for them. i don't think any of our lads played badly but they certainly struggled to get anything going, most likely due to the addition of samed which appeared to skew the team in general, patto's private life should not be discussed on a forum (or any of the players) because whatever they do outside of a match day is their choice, if it starts to affect them when playing then the club will sort it. now i hope this was not an 'experiment' from RLB to show/prove we need more bodies because as it stands, and i hate saying this, he seems to be choosing his faves to play, adil has sat patiently waiting for his chance and i certainly think he did enough to cement his place at least until mundle/watson return yet ELF rocks up and takes his place, today we saw neil moved so samed could take his slot, i am wondering what will happen if we get any more in as these young lads are good and there has been a great team spirit this season, i would hate to see that wrecked.
I was already at the access when the final whistle went, didn’t look back, not surprised by the boos as it was ****e
Yeah mate . I was very disappointed to hear that, particularly when so many on hear commented on how poor it was of the Sheff Utd fans 24 hours earlier.
It wasn't a lack of effort today we were just ****e, simple as that. Regis didn't help with the setup and hoying all the CBs at his disposal on the pitch. Nothing to be gained by booing players who've had an off day.
It doesn’t change the fact that you all felt so entitled to boo. For me it has affect of saying that you couldn’t give a flying feck about the season up to now and that you will boo at the slightest hurdle.
The third post I've read on this thread, and like my frustration after the game, think I'll leave it there.
Disagree. If was a natural reaction. Our players also looked fuming and some hit the deck. Sure they will give the insta posts out that say the same as discussion now.
Top lads Hettonista, Smithy and others … … great company, really enjoyed the day. Just home, tired but no longer thirsty
I shouted ‘what a load of effing ****e’ at the end. I wasn’t reflecting on the season. I just thought today was a load of ****e and was frustrated. Not sure if it lands me in the boo boys but Id rather be honest. I don’t think the players were lazy but there were a few moments I thought they were physically more hungry, hunting in packs. I think that’s because our change of set up altered our collective force. Today is over though and we didn’t lose when we were crap, unlike Sheffield Utd. New players in the short term, no matter how good, can mess with systems. Let’s just perform and beat Boro
We should have had a pen for a foul on Mayenda was it? Looked like a clumsy challenge nowhere near the ball, thought it was a stonewaller at the time. Ref was a tit throughout, enjoyed his day in the spotlight a bit too much.
