we don’t know thats true. Club might be more than happy to pay the wages. Issue might be length of contract for Salah and vvd. Might be about release clause for TAA. Might be about being given captaincy when vvd leaves. Might be about image rights. Might be about appearance/goam/clean sheet bonus. 100s of things go into a contract that are in addition to just a basic cost that negotiate over.
Yes, hence the comment "if you believe" Nobody knows if salah walked in looking for 500k or 600k or 409k or whatever. Nobody knows what anyone has asked for but there's a lot of rumours and none of them had astounding numbers so if you believe 2 years for vvd and 250k then you'd have to ask yourself in what world does a sane rational football person who should know vvd will breeze through 2 more seasons think...hmmm is he worth it? Oh no I don't think so. Let's spend on a 24 year old for 30mil and see if they are as good. (Or whatever else they do next year)
so lets get this straight one minute you are panicking about our wage/revenue balance and next it is give them whatever they want
I am commenting on the money league results from deloitte thst tells us we have 63% rations so 7% head room before cl football to pay someone wages. Where's the "panic" and where did anyone say "pay them what they want" I merely said the club don't want them at those levels of wages if you believe what is Rumoured to be the ask. Obviously everyone just jumps up and down and goes mad as per and ignored 90% of what is said
So United have posted losses of over 300m in last 3 years and close to failing psr rules. explains how doesn’t expect fans to make up the shortfall… but then explains how ticket prices may have to increase Absolute mess. Ticket prices increases are such a small dent. What would save them money is stop hiring and firing managers and letting them spend 150m every summer. Clearly statements are just a preemptive one for when they sell Garnacho / Rashford and maybe mainoo as pure psr profit being home grown. Will tell the fans we had to because of the rules etc
This is like those stats where say X team last beat Y team in 1956.. ignoring fact they’ve only played 1 game since as been in diff leagues
Man utd problems are not ticket prices it's rampant waste and incompetence. The way to run your business into the ground is to punish the customer for your own waste However football fans are considered not as customers but as always being there or someone else will be and taken for granted. Old Trafford is a tip. I mean garry neville says so. In reality their expansion in the 1990s is like what fsg have done to us. Stands were extended, not completely redone the streford end was down as part of the Taylor report and a second over tagged in. This is not a stadium thst will look or feel modern and anfield certainly is not. The skd stand required midgets in the lower tier and the upper tier is tiny and the concourse are ****. The anfield road end has this giant tier stuck on a road with this tiny shiny concourse and it's now a rabbit Warren. Seats are fine though. The main stand has **** views for us in the lower tier. The top is pokey amd not great either. So old trafford won't be great either. Charging massive money to go and then serve up tripe isn't good enough. Manager after manager paid off. Player after player grossly overpaid for and far too high a wage. The latest guy has already proven to not be capable. Anyone breaking tvs right after a game and calling hai players the worst in history wont last long and will lose the pmauers he has. They will now go sell every hg player and indulge in a frenzy of bad buys again. Who is now their technical director? Jason wilco?
Games going our way. Arsenal down to 10 at Wolves. Stupid tackle by Lewis-Skelly Bournemouth beating Forest 3-0
Great management from Pep, throw your newly signed defender who doesn't speak English and was playing in an East Europe backwater 18months ago, straight into a game against Chelsea.
To be fair it’s only Chelsea for all the billions they have spent they have not had a go at this poor city side. And after all the billions they spent how have they got Sanchez in goal. As usual against a big team Palmer goes missing.
