Agree a fraction of the attacking player we use to see -Manning and his coaching seem to be draining the players.
Sykes is a far more reliable wide man than either Mehmeti or Yu. Yu has gone backwards, terrified to take a player on, just happy to pass back or safe.......Manningball.
I have said many times before that Bristol City is a club that any decent player with dreams would never want to join. I feel that it is down to our constant lack of aspirations on the pitch and so if you are below average in some lower division you are our kind of guy and don't bother to bring any hope of success. Here we are this season during what has been a somewhat disastrous improvement project that has seen us take on players that can't make the grade and as far as the others go I think they have lost all sense of what's going on and unfortunately appear incapable of upping their game. Finally I have to say that perhaps we need a drastic change but given our less than stellar record at hiring top staff perhaps we should stay with the status quo. Deja-vu all over again and again.
Sykes - reliable……You have got to be joking. He’s every bit as inconsistent and frustrating as Memheti. He’s been injured for a while, so I guess you’ve forgotten.
One thing about Sykes is he does know where the net is, which is more than can be said for many of our team. He’s inconsistent agreed, but when on form he’s one of our better players. Unless replaced with someone better I’d keep him. Since Manning has over coached Yu, Sykes right now offers more than Yu, so regrettably, I’d return Yu and keep Sykes.
Bristol City set to open fresh contract talks with first-team player https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/bristol-city-set-to-open-fresh-contract-talks-with-nahki-wells/
Are we supposed to be progressing under Liam because to me it looks more like organized chaos and that is a feeling we know well by supporting Bristol City? Currently I think there is something going on down in the dark halls of Ashton Gate, and not for the first time I may add, and knowing what it is would be the big question. How on earth are we ever supposed to compete and give the supporters what they should be getting when we appear to be constantly and secretly in a total mess not even knowing which way is up. All of this regular mayhem is down solely to the real man at the top and that is Steve Lansdown himself who also has no idea what he wants or how to get there. Seasonal disorder is our usual thing and like a lot of you I wonder why we continue to accept failure as the norm when with just a little forethought and action we could do way better than this dross.
**** me people are moaning yet we are three points of play offs. Will we get there no but the way some go on we are going to be in a relegation battle. Did we make a mistake with Fally, yes we did. Are we the only club that makes mistakes? No. Look at Man Utd they blew a wad on Anthony. But our mistake was 2.5 million lots of clubs make loads of mistakes we only know of ours or the big ones like I mentioned Man Utd making. But I bet if you asked all fans of championship clubs they can give you one or two mistakes.
