Well we got a goal. Good header from Greaves. And from a corner! Probably worth starting Enciso if he can whip a ball in like that. Must be only the second goal we’ve scored from a corner all season.

I guess everyone outside of the top 4 should just give up then. No point in having a league structure with relegation/promotion any more as the rest of us shouldn't want our team to test ourselves against better players.

Maybe, just maybe, some of us understand where we're at and yet still enjoy watching the games. Tell the likes of Forest, who have had it tough since their return, that they should've given up trying to progress.

So you don’t believe Sky money has ruined the top flight, you don’t believe it’s wrong that the likes of Man City are allowed to financially cheat their way to their titles

Yep, it's a confidence booster ready for Southampton and the fans enjoyed the end of the match.

I agree with you that sitting back is not the best option, and it's not like it's getting us results doing it. I agree with you that we should be trying to get forward more. We did that in the last few minutes here and it was enjoyable.

I also understand there will be results like this in the first season back as we are so far off the established teams but, if we can survive, we can improve and go again.

    That's a different conversation.

I support my home town team, through thick and thin. I'm proud of what we've done the last couple of years. I'm hoping we do enough to stay up and get better. I see the likes of Brighton and Brentford that have progressed year over year.

If you'd rather Leeds stay in the Championship just so you can see winning football, that's your choice. It's not for me though. Football is about dreams, drama and memories, win, lose or draw.

It's also about trying to win games, not sit back and hope to only concede a few!!

Poor performance but Liverpool were exceptional. Our left hand side was a real weakness, Phillips and in particular Philogene not strong enough. Davis was Davis okay in moments but not defensively strong enough to cope with the best player in the world.

We didn't show enough intensity and if we're going to sit back like that we need more tenacity from Phillips and Philogene. Also I thought in general the 2 CBs did pretty well but if we're going to play 5 at the back we're going to need the CBs to be better on the ball.

I know the game had gone by then but we looked better going forward when Hirst, Broadhead and Encisco came on. Their passing and movement was much better than Delap, Hutchinson and Philogene, who all sometimes look a little forest gump. They looked like inexperienced players against world class players today.

Not wanting to criticise the players and McKenna too much but particularly first half we looked on the ball a team of strangers, are we making too many changes for the sake of it. Players dropping in and out.

Today we didn't show the intensity we could've done and our game plan appeared to be just getting Delap, Hutchinson and Philogene running at players but they lost the ball too many times. We look best under McKenna when we pass and move.

I think we've needed to try to be more secure defensively because we've been too open a few times this season but today our press and closing down wasn't good enough

A sensible balanced view in contrast to some of the other negative crap posted recently.

Jacob Greaves scores at Anfield. He can tell that to his grandchildren. Nathan Broadhead, Sam Morsy, Christian Walton, Leif Davis, George Hirst, Wes Burns all from League One to Anfield. Town fans outsinging the Kop as they watch a World Cup winner - and probably the greatest side on the planet at this moment. The stuff that dreams are made of - and we’re only getting started!

I currently fail to see what Phillips brings to the team. I'd send him back and try to get another midfielder in.

Finger crossed for Burns, looked a tough one and just when he's started to looked really solid and also getting into good positions
