Has it got any better since the new manager came in?

In patches it has but we've still lost all five games since he took charge. Been rather mixed as we've definitely seen some parts of games where we've looked much better but then also had the Brentford game which was as bad as anything Martin served up if not worse.

We're not making hundreds of passes between our keeper and CB's in our own box anymore which is nice but we're also tiring quickly as Juric wants to play a high energy style and Martin had the squad really unfit. Which makes it baffling that we made the change going into the busiest point of the season rather than a month or two earlier.

Either way we can't score and can't defend and you lot can do both so can only see it going one way. Ipswich in our following game will be a better indicator and where we need to win if we want to reach 12 points

From Howe's presser (and, yes, I know he's only going to be positive):

Newcastle boss Eddie Howe on Callum Wilson: "Yeah, it's too early for Callum. Callum's still on track for returning right at the beginning of February.

"He's making good progress. We're trying to do the right things with him and make sure that he is robust enough and has all the work behind him and the load behind him before he starts training with the group.

"But he seems very positive. What a massive player that would be to welcome back."

Are the pair of them in cahoots to keep him at the club? Happened last year and again this year, just happens to return when the window shuts.

I am also aware this is a worse conspiracy theory than the JFK thread.

He's like the new Shola, just can't get rid of him.

    (Wilson not Roly)

10 points worse than them to be precise. You couldn't even beat Man U.

Lol he's never staying beyond this season in a million years, of course Howe's gonna be polite. We generally good with ditching crocks, Kerion Dyer, Carroll etc....no doubt West Ham will offer Wilson a big contract in the summer.

We WERE good at ditching crocks. Under Howe, not so much.

Wilson is the only glaring problem really, we're not back to the days of Wooodgate, Ferguson, Dyer, Marcelino, Carroll,

So do we think we will smash them. Or scrape a win?

If we don't smash these tomorrow then they need shooting.

A reaction to Bournemouth and taking it out onthe PL cannon fodder is an expectation from all.

    If we lose....

Please, please Eddie Howe keep Pope away from the current squad. Dubs has proved to be a superb stand in and doesn't give us the mcolly wobbles whenever a ball is at his feet. Pope good shop stopper but that is it.

You do realise both these have the same outcome, ie 3 points?

We could also draw or lose.

Or the game may be postponed or possibly abandoned.

    Think that covers everything. <cheers>
