It's a wonderful (philanthropic) gesture for the football club as it means they are now very unlikely to ever be able to sell the club for a meaty profit ...

 

How was Leicester ever in over £300 million on debt? Did they spend it all after spending 2 and 6 on their title winning team?

 

Yup ... had spent £87 million gross from coming up in 2014-15 to winning the title in 2015-16...
