Good move for Longman. And good for us to get a reasonable fee, but it does feel like a gamble letting him go whilst wide options are still such a big problem for us. If he wasn't on his way he'd have been an obvious starter for the last few games.
He's definitely 25, it even says so in the article you linked. He's been at the club 17 years, but that's counting since he was 8.

Amazing bit of info that! If you’re on your phone just click the ‘Aa’ at the side of the web address and you can select a reader view that gets rid of all ads
I quite liked Longman as an honest versatile squad player option, but I'd be amazed if Lincoln isn't a marked upgrade.
Some of his assists here are very good. On first look he has the potential for Seri type class in terms of technique. The big question will be if he can handle the pace and physicality of the championship.
Not in the short term, if he’s not fit? Selles said in pre match blurb Lincoln hasn’t played since Dec, been training on his own. At least presumably Longman would have been useful match squad starter/player had he not been off. Thought we were doing our business early, we’re in a dog fight in the **** zone, in need of good reinforcements now, my worry is by the time the likes of Crooks, Lincoln, etc are match fit and up to scratch, we could be adrift at the bottom. Got everything crossed that I’m wrong on this, and we get 3 points tonight.
