Over ten years ago. And where his brother lives is utterly meaningless. You were wrong, don’t dig the hole deeper.
Omur was crap under LR and crap under Wally. 37 appearances, 3 assists and no goals is crap for a #10, no matter where they were played across the attacking line.
Whether you're right or wrong he's still a gala bot and we'll see him about as much as we did before Acun when the club changes hands again. But if you're you're willing to put up with his single-issue dogwhistle/AI bullshit then feel free.
We say this every transfer window about several players which says everything. Think I saw on Twitter we’ve signed 58 players in the three years Acun has been owner.
That would be strange as an option is to their benefit. By nature they don't have to activate it, it's their option.
Chazz has seen Callum Jones play - in fact he's seen his every appearance at every level - never playing? Pah!
Was it @NewcastleTiger who said he threw a paddy when the club told him he was going to be released so the club caved and just gave him a new contract and sent him out on loan indefinitely? If that’s true, I have no words.
Maybe we’re paying o yeah that’s true well his mum went in and gave everyone an earful and he ended up with a new contract.
I just looked October 2019 we signed him Second longest serving player after Fleming I think Fleming Another one Gave him a three year contract and have sent him out on loan ever since
I know you’re taking the piss but I’m pretty sure Harry Wood’s dad did that a couple of years ago and he ended up getting a new contract.
In fairness when Fleming got that deal we were all quite excited with him as he was linking up well with Greaves and KLP on that left hand side under Shota.
Giles not having an option in his contract is actually good news for us. If it was an obligation it would be different, but an option favours Boro - if he kills it on loan there and is worth more than the option, they would exercise it, and if he stunk it up they would just choose not to exercise it. Now, if the former happens we can hold out for more money from other interested clubs and potentially have a bidding war, and if the latter happens we're in the same position either way.
