The landlord must have been a bit of a British blues fan. Had Chicken Shack and others on. And of course the best of all, this one (though this is the full 6 minute one not the single which fades out halfway through the solo). Served scrumpy as well. Went in the following season and no scrumpy. Apparently some Birmingham fans had been in consumed gallons of the stuff and the police had to call in reinforcements from surrounding areas to get them under control. He was informed that not selling scrumpy would be a condition of the continuation of his licence.

 

By alcohol problems do you mean they can drink more than you? Would rather have Poles than some other groups who don’t drink (or profess not to until they are in court and then use it as an excuse for their wrongdoings).

 

You could deport every single immigrant tomorrow, and this country would still be a cesspit, because it’s how home grown that are the problem, and that’s why we have to invite so many immigrants into the country in the first place.

 

Why don't you just say Muslims?

It's the same tired, fact checked to death arguments over and over, whether you live in Holland, America, France or Australia. Somebody born somewhere has a problem with people who weren't born there and they spend their lives trying to convince others to think like them, coming up with every morbid reason they can to persuade people that the reason they haven't got food on their table or a doctor's appointment is that it's gone to some foreign person instead of them. The reality of it is, the reason that many of us are hungry and cold and have **** in the water is because the people in control of those things are pissing themselves all the way to the bank while half the country cheers on an investment banker in a flat cap stood on Dover beach trying to spot boats to point at.

You're right, the country isn't where it is because of people born elsewhere, it is where it is because we've allowed one very small, select group of wealthy people to soak up all the money and leave everybody else with **** all. The whole "you're not from here so you suck" argument is just a distraction, it always has been and it'll continue because the same talking heads shouting for the UK and USA to close their borders and commence mass deportations are the same ones making more money in a year than we would make in ten thousand.

If people put half as much energy into fighting those hoarding the wealth in the Western world instead of rage scrolling about immigration and random murders, we might actually have a half decent chance of improvement.

Like you said, even if we closed the borders, chucked out every immigrant we black marked and said needed to go, closed all the kebab shops and dropped Spanish from the national curriculum, it wouldn't even come close to solving a fraction of the problem. It would in fact solve the square root of **** all.

 

By home grown are you including second and third generation immigrants? Though I agree a lot of “our own” are nothing to be proud about.

 

You do care, otherwise you'd have more conviction in your statements.

But to go after whichever misaligned group is easiest

Than to actually do something about the real problem
People are just about comfy enough to not


The top hoard more and more wealth and power
While the rest get a declining quality of life etc etc etc
