I think it would be best going forward for this Forum to concentrate on posting about Charlton. The occasional political post or posts about current affairs are fine but this is a Football forum.
I didn’t know that @lardiman had stopped being a Moderator until this Morning. I would like to thank him for all the work he has done and is doing on this forum. I am glad he is still posting.

Moderating a Charlton forum is a gruelling business. It’s been known to drive incumbents to exhibit strange behaviours, including consuming large quantities of prawns, and calling posters ‘fella’.

You need a deputy. Someone who is highly respected, eloquent & intelligent, and who regularly attends our games.

I can’t think of anyone, so how about @ElfsborgAddick instead ?

It was only yesterday that @brb changed my status back to regular member.
    I couldn't do that myself.
    He is a top man.

Best of luck taking the forum forward @Dick Plumb1 I've no plans to go anywhere else. It's a good bunch we have here...

I think I would prefer to do it myself. No offence intended. Bit of mischief making going on there @Likey

Well, if your theatrical commitments get too much, or you are summoned late in life to Broadway, @ElfsborgAddick could do a semi adequate job in your absence.

Semi adequate is not good enough. <laugh> First night of the Panto tonight. Will be busy this week. It’s got a bit of the Elfsborg theme. Babes in The Wood.:1980_boogie_down:

Worrying to read the post from @Part Time Crombie Model regarding social housing.
I was brought up on the council in Catford, opposite the nick on the Bromley Road, and there was a wonderful community spirit back then.

Same. I grew up in Thamesmead and genuinely loved the place back then. But I wouldn't live there now for all the tea in China.

I have no problem with migration if the process is carried out legally but if they enter the country illegally then they have no regards for our laws and rules and should be deported without question ! Most of these illegals have passed through safe countries en-route to the UK - what’s that all about if they’re fleeing for their lives ?? :emoticon-0127-lipss
