Hobbs is a good defender and i have never said he isnt. He isnt the greatest technical player thats all i am saying. Hobbs is a very good defender in this league and i think he has the potential to go to the prem
Sounds like Hull have the same problems as us. Not great places to park your car. Had we not needed to money so bad back then we shouldnt of sold Filbert Street to the council and we should of built a multi story car park there. The club would of made a fortune with the tigers and hosptial being close by
...good clean game is all we can ask for and the best team to win, not by a lucky deflection, dubious peno, bad reffing etc, etc, I'm sure Big Nigel, Shakey and Walshy will get some stick, which is good, it means the fans cared about them and they were doing a good job there, 'cause if they were a total waste of space they would have been glad to see the back of them.... spicy game just hope Mills and Wellens keep their heads, don't want any sending offs... and after all it's only a football game..... ... so glad we have Nigel and his boys back....
Only Hobbs starts for us, and he is our "get rid" defender. Chester is one of the best technical defenders in the league, his problem is a lack of height. McShane doesn't play but Rosenior does, and he's one of the best right back's in the division. Fryatt plays instead of Adebola. Fryatt's weakness is a lack of pace. Just thought I'd educate you a little!
Who knows how it would have turned out but for a bad refereeing decision. I read that article by the Hull fans apparently not having the rub of the green. We'll we've hard far more bad decisions against us, and this match was just another for the pile. That sad, what a twat Mills is. I'm getting to the end of my tether with that guy.
Bad refereeing decision my arse. Open your ****ing eyes. McLean was tripped and clean through. Whether he would have scored or not is irrelevant. Just take the defeat on the chin like the big boy you obviously aren't ffs.
It was never a red card. McLean didn't have any control of the ball and the ball was virtually in the keepers hands. If thats a goalscoring opportunity then a goal kick may as well be too. Talking about 'taking it on the chin' I do remember you all moaning about your red card against Saints so people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. Why would you say 'Birmingham next....let's move on' while on the Leicester board? We don't give two ****s who you have next
I watched the highlights with a biased Forest fan and even he said it wasn't a sending off. Penalty yes. but we showed we had enough to come back from that. But an hour with ten men away from home against a side absolutely desperate to beat us was too much in the end. I have taken it on the chin, doesn't mean I'm not going to call it as it is! Even the winner was the type of shot that wouldn't normally hit the back of the net. We all get lucky wins occasionally. Even we had one this season. So congrats on your three points, but I really wouldn't brag to much about it, and I certainly don't want to hear how unlucky you've been this season again!
All this bad luck stuff is nonsense. If Mills put himself in the position to allow the ref to make a subjective decision then more fool him. If the Leicester defence allow themselves to be cut open then more fool them. The surest way to not get sent off is not to make rash challenges from behind in your own penalty box. Football fans seem to forget that it's the ref's opinion that counts, so the only foolproof way to make sure you don't get sent off is to not commit daft fouls. Similarly if you score enough goals in a game you'll win it whoever the ref is. All this moaning is another symptom of our society. The ref is doing his best, accept it folks.
Yeah sounds like you've got over it. The red card was te correct decision as he kicked out at him afterwards. You defended and hardly attacked us all match. Your goal came against run of play, but was well taken. Infact best strike of the game. After that, i thought you'd go for it abit more with your nippy winger and with the likes of Nugent up front. We past it about well and camped in your half virtually all second half. We got in behind your defence on a number of occassions, but through lack of quality, our final effort on goal was either well saved our put over the bar/ put wide. Your tactics were making it harder for City to score, which are a credit to your defence and work rate. The second penalty wasn't one, Bamba just was stronger than Fryatt. But they've been given. We were getting stiffled and you could feel the anxiety around the ground. I'm glad we didn't give up and go for the point. The goal itself was a peach, your keeper couldn't get anywhere near Roko's effort. It had no luck about it at all. You whinge about the Pearson chants, but your fans were giving it large before the match and after you'd scored. So put it down to banter- hardly anything new at a football match.
Got no complaints about the decision - problem with awarding a red card is that it is not always consistent - take the Necastle v Chelski and Tottenham v Bolton games - first one should have been and wasn't - second was and shouldn't have been Biggest gripe is that a red card often spoils the game - for me the ref should have given a penalty but only booked Mills - Hull go one up but the game is a better game and Mills has to spend the rest of the afternoon engaging brain before challenging (something he hasn't shown too much off since joining us).. Anyway - no complaints on the result - best team on the day won - now it's footballing history and we should ALL be looking forward to the next game ..
