    Friday 8pm kick off
Couldn’t understand leaving Pedro on so long last night. He wasn’t playing as well as usual and I thought Amrabat coulda done with another cameo. Unless Joseph goes straight in Friday?
Pedro would be good coming off the bench with Joseph staying on!! Instead of like for like.
hopefully new signings will be in the team and fit and raring to go but it’s a big ask.
Does crooks start? Looks nowhere near fit enough to me. Understandably.
A battling point would help the cause but they’re flying but who knows we might scrape a win
    City 2-1

I thought Crooks did well coming on. Start him we need some players with some fight, Slater off the bench.

    Rushworth
    Drameh Burns Jones McLloughlin
    Crooks Alzate Puerta
    Gelhadt Joseph Amrabat

Will Coyle be fit enough to return? Is Jacob a better choice at left back than one of our centre backs? Does Carl Rushworth deserve to keep Ivor Pandur out the team? Is Abu Kamara sick or injured and is he a better bet than a one footed Gelhardt anyway? Is Harry Vaughan the next diminutive big thing or does he flatter to deceive? Does João Pedro need a rest? Should Matt Crooks start in order to add a bit of bite in the middle of the park?

These questions and many others will be answered on the next episode of Soap...

Theres no way macca starts at lb again

Then again i said that before the qpr game
    Youd think itd be jacob

Think we made a mistake in keeping pedro on for 120 mins vs doncaster, he has had no rest and he did finally start to look 'leggy' v qpr

We will need some luck to score, unless joseph turns out to be the next best thing
A scrappy, deflected, own goal, lucky bounce or wonder hit is our chance of goals currently
    Might happen v the blunts

Theres no pressure on us id say

Some harshness? But for all the praise our midfield gets, it doesnt ever really compose itself on games does it..

Any games genuinely winnable in the championship

But id be very happy with a draw

Given the gravity of the predicament we find ourselves in one is a must win.

Another poor loss and I’d be questioning whether Selles is the right man.

I don't think we can start Amrabat because I would be surprised if he could do more than 30 mins max. May well see Lincoln on the left, or even the lad from Monaco in midfield with Crooks playing off Joseph.

We must never lose to the inbreds, mostly loathing, grunting 6 fingered hive of the worst we produce. You can see I was following city late 70,s / early 80,s.

Best case scenario is the usual huff and puff against these but never really troubling them. Got us a 0-0 once under LR I suppose so would take that, an unlikely point. Just have to cross fingers for not too much damage from those around us

I'd take a 0-0 now - I read the other day that they've ''nilled'' ten of their 13 home wins; Vernon could be right, it could easily be a dry bumming!

The pitch might help us a little. Them on the front foot leaving spaces between mid and defence might help its a little... we live in hope... theyre not as good as Leeds...
