    My father used to take me for a cooked breakfast at McLeishs (?) on Newland Avenue on Saturdays after he'd signed off post-mortems at the mortuary that was near Hull Truck theatre.

    Cigarette smoke mingled with fried bacon and toast.

    McLeish was a good Bakery .
    I also thought Woodheads in the early 2000s was really good .
    Coopland is terrible .

    There was a farm shop there a few years ago. That's some expansion from Rose Cottage, opening up 3 new shops inside 6 months is crazy, I hope they don't over reach you & implode, they have some amazing products
