I agree with both of these points. I think the direct, vertical syle does suit us better. I would like to watch us test the keeper from outside the box more often.

Think we need to start clearing the balls out when unsure or under pressure rather than panicking and trying to create something from those moments.

Another game played in the land of the giants, i thought Aramabat would have made an appearance either with or in place of Pedro. The Slater shot at goal he didn't even lift his head to see where the goal was, consequently his shot was 3 yards wide. Vaughan was good but may have been better coming on for the last 30 mins against tired legs. Can't really blame Alzatz for their goal, it should have been a defender there to punt the ball into touch. Geldert looked ok and kicked the ball into the net, need more of that

I thought Alzate was poor to be honest. Ponderous and slow. That could be said for the whole side. Our full backs are absolutely useless.

QPR bring on Lloyd, we bring on Burstow. Unfortunately that's the difference.

Still plenty of work to do, and hope we can avoid the bottom 3 come May.

We’re so poor out wide. We need two new wingers and two new full backs.

Lloyds hardly played for them at all. Been a impact sub at best.

Crooks, Joseph, Gelhardt could all be right to start, with Amrabat off the bench if need be and Henrique potentially. Eliot has been playing cl so could come off the bench too.

    They are not poor.
But they aren't that good either.
    We were dreadful.
    On a dreadful pitch.
    With dreadful 'support'.
With a squad that continues to endure dreadful luck.
With, I'm sorry to say, some dreadful decisions & tactics from the touchline this time (I'm sure a blip, a learning opportunity and partly forced but not excused by his limited options for now).
Thankfully re-enforcements are coming ... but we need them up to speed, and worryingly, that won't happen right away. We are in deep trouble, but hopefully will eventually have just about enough to get out of it.

It was a poor performance for sure but at the same time - that’s not going to be our first XI in 3 weeks time

We need to accept the fact that we’re not going to get relegated on the strength of one off results - but we will get relegated if we go on losing runs.

How poor a result tonight is will depend on what happens over the coming games - if we continue to pick up points on a regular basis we’ll be ok. If we don’t then we’ll go down.

So far Selles has shown we can respond quickly. We’re not a side that’s going to win every game we expect to - I’d have taken 3 points out of the last two games before kick off on Saturday.

Oh, I agree we were far from good enough, especially second half, and agree the subs came a bit too late to have much effect.

My worry is that we cant put a run of 3/4 results together. But looking at that side we put out today, it’s fairly poor. Hopefully the new signings will improved us.

Drameh had a stinker tonight. The first goal conceded was poor, I’ll have to watch the replay, looked like we had an opportunity to clear? The second goal Drameh and Rushworth equally at fault.

They were both in the stand today watching. They've signed. I said Henrique and Eliot may come off the bench Friday, with Crooks, Gelhardt and Joseph (who have all been announced and are training) starting. That's five fresh(ish) bodies.

Not sure what Joseph not signing in time for today has to do with him starting Friday.

Just got in, I only stayed until the 80th minute as little un was getting tired. So I missed the goal!!
First 20 mins I thought we were decent to be honest, didn’t create a great deal but looked the better team.
Qpr got back into and prob had the better of the next 15, so first half pretty even.
Second half we didn’t kick on and conceded 2 poor goals (again).
I don’t think we did enough to win it, we didn’t create enough, we just don’t have any idea in the last 1/3. Pedro’s best work is too far from goal

Was referring to the fact that apparently he had a medical Friday last week, and didnt sign in to to play today... and I'd be shocked if he 'started'
