Jones .. didnt put a foot wrong for me Alzate, I wish he had players around him today Slater... kept trying.
Vaughan - like George Best except needs a clinical end product McLoughlin Gelhardt I guess for the goal though did little else Alzate and Puerta did well first half. But Alzate v guilty of not stopping one of their goals when row a would have been fine.
Vaughan Gelhardt Jones Drameh and Alzate miss out - I thought they played well up until both became responsible for the goals conceded. Pedro also narrowly misses out on top 3. Thought Burns looked alright and Puerta too other than his set piece taking. Rushworth had the odd moment where you could see how his playing out might be effective, but in the same breath I don't think his hands are quite as safe as Pandur's.
Alzate (our glimmer of quality, other than Pedro who was starved so didn't figure) Vaughan Gelhardt (not that he was good, but didn't give up and nice finish to give a bit of late hope .... that kills you). Jones was ok I guess, but got away with a couple of errors. Whole defence looked nervous / shaky from the start (as noted early by Sky commentator too). Drameh was absolute shocking, even before their 2nd. And that's from someone who wanted to see him starting at RB. Not sure what's happening with him, he just seems to be getting worse the more we see of him.
Alzate - steady and controlled in front of the back 4 . Did some nice simple first time passes . Vaughan- gave them some tricky moments with his nice dribbling and did some nice passes which helped open up their defence . Gelhardt - worked hard down our right and scored a lovely goal . Another missed opportunity were we failed to score when excellent chances were presented .We then fall to that familar suckered punch and are suddenly 2 behind . We will do better , but need to start soon . This Friday would be nice Come on City
