Almost as good as we could ask for really. Lille have looked tidy without posing much threat. We eventually managed the game pretty well and got a counter right to take the lead. Barca 3-1 down at Benfica too.
Fairly comfortable against a side that can be dangerous. Think we will see Elliot on at about 70 mins and TAA on at about 65 mins. Gakpo will come on for Diaz as well
I'd like to see bradley given as long as possible. I'd like to see Elliott, Endo and chiesa come on personally.
I'm given up on hoping that Slot plays Endo as a 6 for anything more than 5 mins. I think he's played more minutes as a CB this season.
I have to say that David seems to have stopped even trying to look busy. The other lad haraldason hasn't stopped running ans working all night.
When we do up the tempo and play one touch stuff we get round then very nicely. Diaz just over hitting that ball through to Nunez was lovely play. Patient passing at the back then 1 ball from vvd into Diaz turn and through for Nunez.
Nunez just doesn’t have that technique and not sure will ever get it. Couple moments where just played pass into Elliott too heavy, only 10 yard pass. then plays 1 touch pass back into middle directly to Lille player then just then ball rolled into him from Max as a CF and first touch is 10 yards back to Lille player. He then sprints back and ends up making the tackle to win the ball which is why fans love him, but half the time he’s the one that’s given it away
