There's been a lot of talk about fees for Giles. But I'm wondering now if it might be a loan. That would maybe help with the situation where there's such a discrepancy between what we paid and what we can get now, whilst also getting his wages off our books for a while.
Longman off to Wrexham… all of our cast offs get sent to the doldrums of league one, yet people clamour for them to get minutes…
That’s a risk though, he fails at Boro and his value is virtually 0 and we’ll be stuck with him until the end of his contract. He’s still got some value now based on what he did at Boro previously. I’d get rid and move on
He may well have been overtaken by incoming players, but I like him. He’s done a decent job for us, scored some important goals and always seemed to put a shift in. Up to very recently I thought we should have kept him, and I wish him all the best.
And if you read the article to the end it states that's held it up slightly but he's still expected to sign for Oxford.
I had to look at page 1 to try and help make sense of the posts. Wasn’t much use but it did remind me about Cathal McCarthy. He’s playing regularly, albeit ****e last game, for University College Dublin on loan, and picks up a few yellow cards. It’s impossible to say whether he’ll make it into our first team though because no one on the internet knows how tall he is.
Hopefully in the contract will be an obligation to buy for four million quid. And something about being able to sell him to some other team if they are foolish enough to offer more.
Stupid letting him go without a replacement. The Brian team appears to have taken over from the Brain one.
Incompetence by Huddersfield yes, City no. City approach his parent club, they say yes, player says yes, then some muppet in admin and/or Nantes realises that his parent club cannot recall him. That doesn't make us incompetent!
How long is his contract? Can we send him on loan for that long so we never have to pay the twat another penny
