Clarke was also relied on as the sole goalscorer and we didn't have a competent striker haha

Clarke would no doubt be class in this team. On the subject of production, Clarke got a goal or assist every 190 mins for us last season. This season, Mundle has got a goal or assist every 186 mins. Difficult to separate the effect of having a better team around them, but Mundle is producing well for us. What he gains from having a better team around him, hey may also lose from not being the only show in town.

That’s why I think Assists are a bit of a **** metric sometimes. Obviously some are great play and put on a plate for someone but others are a 5 yard pass or a deflected shot going nowhere near the goal. Neil got an assist for making a simple pass to Isidor when he ran 70 yards and put the ball in the net at Hull :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Could Riis be the missing piece?

It’ll be one of riis or Frigan and a lot of people will probably disagree when I say I’d prefer Frigan.

however both would be good additions

Think I might have mentioned before but Riis and Goodrham would be solid pickups at fairly reasonable prices. Would give us 2 decent to good players while keeping a loan slot open for a late prem loan.

Exactly, the thing I find funny is some fans saying if we go up , we'll come straight back down. Then in the next breath claim if we don't go up we'll lose about 6 or 7 players.
The players that are mentioned are being linked to top half premium league sides, so surely if they are good enough for them in the PL they are good enough for us.
The biggest benefit we have is if we go up we have a core of young players capable of playing in the PL we just need 4 top quality established PL players to come is as well as already having LE Fee.
The other 3 teams don't have that, I think all 3 have teams made up of players too good for the championship but not really good enough for the PL

Riis would be a really smart buy. He wouldn't be expensive at all, i'd expect under £2m, due to his contract expiring in the summer. If we get promoted and he can't make the step up we'd probably make a profit.

Can see Riis and Frigan both joining as RLB wants a CF (Riis) and a Versatile attacker (Frigan)

I'll be happy with them both

Happy with either Riis or Frigan. Doubt both would happen as I’d like the “versatile forward” to be more of a winger rather than a striker who can play out wide

Ive read that his strengths are movement off the ball and how he hits the ball (POWER!)

maybe Riis’s pieces will solve our puzzle ….. sorry

I'd be quite happy with Riis like, i do like Frigan, I think i'd choose Riis if I had to choose. Can we really see us getting both though?

As much as I think Frigan could play wide, he hasn’t much I don’t think he’d be the versatile guy and wouldn’t see us sign both
