There is something seriously wrong with the construction of this new pitch, it seems worse just past the halfway line North stand end. I'm not sure whether you can hold the company who laid the pitch to account, or was it our own ground staff responsible for the foundation of the pitch that the turf was laid on?

Now is the time to start winning more home games, if we can sort that out we should get to safety, certainly the new recruits will help, so it will be interesting to see whether Gelhardt starts. I think Crook's is not ready for a full game, so will probably get half an hour.

DQPR are the quinoa of football. Boring, bland & pointless with no worthwhile end product.

    City 3-0 Amateur Dramatics.

    Back in the game.

Wouldn’t be a Hull City signing if they didn’t need weeks or months to be match-fit.

Jones seems to lift his game by 20% every time he wears the captains armband, so it’s not all bad news.

I always sit in East Stand but tonight I'm in the West Stand. Last time I sat in West we beat Tranmere 6-1....just saying!

(I just looked that game up. I can't believe that not only was it in 2004 but that Stuart Elliott scored 3. In my terrible memory he was a player from earlier than that.)

Was that Ryan France debut he came on and scored by pushing the defender in the back, probably not and I'm getting confused in my old age, I'm rubbish at remembering specific games they all run into one

Ryan France's debut was against Kidderminster, he scored the 6th in a 6-1 win.
