We ended the window having spent a fortune on signing Sharp, Pandur, Omur, Giles, Ohio, Zaroury and Carvalho. Only one of them is a top six player, the signings overall turned out to be poor. If Delap and Philogene had stayed fit and as a consequence we’d signed no-one in January, we’d have had a better squad.
