He's a cracking player when fit. Think we'd have to beat a few premier league suitors to get him mind.
Can’t wait for it to close and we can fully focus on this final push, January window is a pain in the arse, I’m confident we’ll get two more in striker and a winger/forward would like a full back but I know we won’t just sign anyone for the sake of it so not so sure that gets done
Absolutely not a chance he lands in the championship been linked with arsenal West ham City and Everton
FFS man Smug, coffee all over laptop and the white wall behind it. Just away to get a cloth before Mrs AB rumbles me......
Some might say it shows how far we have come. I would say he was part of our journey, and a decent part too. Lads like him are always welcome at our club. That is because they give us everything and have no selfishness about their game. He brought a bit of leadership to a team that lacked it at times. Good luck Winny lad.
The Cannon transfer seems to have gone quiet. I wonder if we are still trying to work some magic to do a deal that’s acceptable to Leicester.
I don't know about the state of their ownership . But if they are still on a yellow card for late payments, they really have to go up this season. The pressure is on there, and for all the players they have, they can only play eleven at a time.
100% mate, would play anywhere and always gave his all, top lad by all accounts too, never met anyone that didn’t speak well of him
expected to complete Sheff Utd move tomorrow Sheff Utd agree £10m Cannon deal Latest from Sky Sports News' Mark McAdam and Lyall Thomas: Sheffield United have agreed a £10m deal with Leicester to sign Tom Cannon. Personal terms are now under discussion and not yet agreed. However, a medical has been scheduled tomorrow.Cannon was recalled from a loan at Stoke so that Leicester could look to sell him. PSR is an issue at the forefront of Leicester's transfer market thinking and they are expected to only bring in players on loan if they add any this month.
I'll be glad when he signs for them. I didn't think Connolly was 'a Sunderland player', like Dack and Cannon is another ... ... our team spirit is massive and I don't want that disrupted.
Ferguson is a tough one because we all know he’s better than the championship already but I can’t see him starting for any of those teams. I genuinely don’t think anyone bar a Southampton or Leicester puts him straight in. Maybe West Ham because they’re very short up top. Loads of potential but nowhere near the level to be starting for a team like Arsenal yet like that’s wild if they’re looking to bring him in. He’s at a stage where he’s played a bit much PL football to drop down but he hasn’t really done anything to suggest he should be starting for PL teams other than those at the bottom needing to take a chance
