Trump taking credit, maybe it’s co-incidence, but his ego for “doing a deal” may not be the most pure motivation to sign peace treaties, but it’s potentially a nice outcome his regime would bring to the world.
US backed Israel is a lot more straightforward to deal with than Russia of course.

Ceasefire and any moves to ease the humanitarian crisis and get hostages returned welcome. Well short though, of the agreements and changes in attitude needed to bring a lasting peaceful coexistence after decades of conflict. To many hawks not enough doves.
