    Why's that?

They've just lost their last four games and we're playing well.

1 win in our last 8 away games, failing to score in 5 of those

We’ve struggled against poor opposition loads of times on the road this season.

If we play as well as we did at Burnley we'll beat Derby ...

... they've just lost at home to Watford who'd lost 3, and drawn 1, of their last 4 games.

Le Fée will play central and destroy them <laugh>

Down to ten men at qpr

then missing Jobe and other injuries and suspensions we played

    Preston away
Milwall away with like half a squad and should’ve won against a team at the time in top form
Sheffield United away, another frustrating one but a top side
    Swansea away big win
Blackburn away another top side at the time we could’ve won except for a late scramble
Stoke yeah that was frustrating tbh should’ve won that
Burnley another top side who’ve conceded 5 times at home all season and could’ve won

    we’ve hardly played ****e teams

also might I add the league home form is ridiculous this season

Stoke are the third worst home team in the league. With a record of 4-6-4 and a positive goal difference. 3rd WORST and they’ve lost 4 out of 14. Only Cardiff and hull are seriously poor at home. Teams are really hard to beat at home this season

    Again - ‘IF’

I’ll go down there in the hope that we are finally clinical in front of goal.

Was waiting for you to come along and defend it <laugh>

1 away win in 8 is poor even if you’re fighting relegation, man. Tuesday is a must win, no excuses (I know you’d be making them).

Yes 'if' ... it's a prediction just like you're saying 'if' we get a result like the matches you're talking about.

Of course it's if, neither of us knows <laugh>

We were pretty clinical at Swansea and Blackburn weren't we?

It’s not just defending though it’s logical thinking

teams are extremely good at home. Yes we should’ve been more clinical no denying that, should’ve had more wins but my points still stand

in those 8 we’ve played Blackburn, Burnley, Sheffield United, milwall, and Preston who have a ridiculous record at home midweek nighttime games

1 win and failing to score in 5 from QPR, Preston, Millwall, Sheff United, Swansea, Blackburn, Stoke and Burnley is ****e - go on admit it

We've also got the 4th best away record in the league, most teams are worse away from home than at home

We have to be winning this one as got some tough away games coning up

As you said We've actually played well away from home and deserve more points than we've got

If we are to up automatically, the away from has to improve. This is irrespective of whatever reasoning is provided.

Agreed, the good thing is we aren't far away from picking up more 3 points

4th best away form in the league, we’ve deserved more points than we’ve got because of chance taking. **** happens

    people have unrealistic expetations

1.5 PPG away and 2.5PPG at home gets you 92 points

we’re currently on 2.38 PPG at home and 1.42 PPG away.

think we’re doing pretty well :emoticon-0148-yes:

I do think we need to beat Derby though but I’m just talking about this run of 8 games that keeps getting mentioned

We are. Home form is brilliant. Away form needs to improve if we are to finish top 2. Current trajectory won't have us finishing there.

It’s a must win if we want to keep hearing the words ‘automatic promotion’

Derby have lost 5 of their last games.

I can believe any Sunderland supporter is expecting a draw tbh ...

... if we can't beat a team a point from the drop, in such terrible form, we can forget about promotion now.

Our away results need to improve, I'd say our form has been quite good.

Now we have Le Fée I'm expecting an improvement which seemed evident at Burnley.

Sorry I should have worded that better. Form as in points return over a period of time.

    But aye I agree.

I’m sure someone posted a recent form table before the Burnley game, I think we were first or second, so continuing that form would probably see us in the top 2 ??
