Rooney? Think your living in a time warp, Paul Warne is apparently their manager. Until we’re safe, I won’t be saying **** about other teams going down! ****ing Middlesbrough & Blackburn!
'Unfortunate moment decided game' - reaction Millwall head coach Alex Neil: "Ultimately the game got decided on a cross that hit one of our lads' heels and deflects in at the front post, and it ends up being the winning goal. "From that perspective, it's really, really frustrating because if you get done with a bit of quality or if you get done by them performing better and creating numerous opportunities to comfortably win the game, you go 'OK, we need to be better.' "But it was a scrappy game decided on an unfortunate moment for us, in my opinion. "We're stretched at the top end of the pitch – I think anybody can see that. "We've just sold Romain (Esse) for a lot of money, we've got Femi [Azeez] who's currently not available for us just now. We've got Calum Scanlon who's literally trained for one week, and he's a left-back and I've got him playing left wing, so it's not easy."
Scrappy goal but good forward passing and attacking the space around the box and down the wing made it. Something we never did often enough under previous managers
Burns was solid, held his own, dealt with everything that came his way, I for one was impressed with his performance, but also big shout out for Dramah when he came on, I feared the worst when Coyle went off, but he didn’t out a foot wrong in the right back position. Don’t get me wrong, Milwall didn’t offer much, other than their set pieces, but that was a good performance, a massive 3 points, that we wouldn’t have held on to a few months ago, squeaky bum time etc, we’d have lost that. We’ve all being crying out about the lack of nous, game management, and with our subs today, albeit aging front line, we got just that, bit of nous and know how. All in all, a good competitive game, great 3 points, out of the bottom 3, and a great atmosphere on the long journey home for the fab travelling support. UTT Onwards and upwards.
Don’t get me wrong I’m glad we won but why’s he a baby ? It was a lucky goal Did we have any other real chances apart from kamaras?
Sorry Tigress but I read your first sentence in a fnarr, fnarr, Finbar Saunders way and lost concentration after that. Some blokes are rather puerile as you are no doubt aware. Sorry.
What a difference a week makes, last week no one good enough, no one battling for the shirt, can't beat league 2 opposition.
Tell you what, Amrabat's got a big arse and he's not afraid to use it. Selles seems to be bringing in a bit more physicality
As I said last week though - midfield backwards it wasn’t an awful performance. We just stunk upfront.
Double flusher, that's one efficient cistern you are employing. I'd have needed to take a big stick to the log.
