I think the top 4 are set in the championship So many sides chasing 5th and 6th though, it’ll be tight
Love to know how some teams get away with stuff. Nunez, 2 cracking goals, but removed his shirt first one, yellow card, then very late on a Brentford defender, ref does nothing. Brentford players booked for far less
We are still 10 points from the teams chasing the last play off place, and only 4 points off the top 2. Going to be a hell of an end to the season and our chase for an automatic place
To be fair, Ipswich are giving it a go, probably the most likely to stay up. Southampton cocked it up early season with Russell Martin's style of play being too open and leaving them with too much to do. Leicester were twitching, not great but functional enough to grind results out to keep them in contest. But since sacking Cooper other than the new manager bounce for a couple of games they've regressed rapidly. There's still poor teams there like Wolves & Everton and inconsistent teams like West Ham and Palace, so it would be hard but not impossible.
I think Ipswich will stay up, there’s still fight in them. As for the teams just above, we all know about the mood hoover at Everton and how he can suck the life out of you.
Ref was class in the mags game other than missing the ball going out of play and allowing them to continue then disallowing the goal. Let loads go and it was end to end with challenges flying in.
Yea absolutely! Funny as I got in the car to radio Newcastle and John Anderson said the ref had been awful! Wondered what game he watched!
Probably so, but they are following our template of circling the plug hole for a few seasons and getting relegated when they move into a new ground.
Really really like Watkins as a striker, has a bit of everything. Been some championship players really make the step up in the prem last few years
