McLoughlin - fantastic outing at left- back Slater great running and intelligence for the goal Pedro worked his socks off again Kamara should have scored at least one - too many wrong decisions, but got it right for the goal Puerta strangely off his game Rushworth did fine and (maybe?) his distribution was better, but harsh on the pink Pandur.
really tough this one, and deliberately doing it without having read anyone else's as I think there'll be at least 7 or 8 players nominated today 1 Alzate, controlled the game and was at the heart of a lot of our good football 2 Pedro, he's got everything bar pace, he's fit, strong, good technically, excellent vision, work rate incredible and he ****ing cares. some outstanding touches and passing today, in my top 3 for about the 8th match running 3 slater, iffy first half but his driving runs 2nd half ultimately won us the game, pressure on with tree coming in he reacted big time today macca, burns, Jones could all have been in there too, solid 90 from each of them rarely looked troubled in or out of possession, thought Kamara was a great outlet too, perhaps could've done better with some chances but becoming more influential and important week by week.
A hard fought victory , we were the better team . Millwall look a poor side and could be drawn into our relegation battle . 1. Alzate- protected our back 4 , broke down play well and did some nice simple passing . His odd mistake saw him win the ball back . 2. Jones - led the team well after Lewie departed . Nice and solid at the back . 3. Pedro - another battling display saw him giving their defence plenty to do . Another great away clean sheet . Well done boys . Come on City
1 ... Alzate. I think that was his best game for City. 2 ... Pedro. What an engine he has. 3 ... McLoughlin. Never put a foot wrong. I can't remember anyone having a bad game today. I also think and I maybe shot down for this but Kamara is starting to become an asset. No one took a backward step today everyone fighting for the cause. Subs made an impact and helped with experience in the last minutes. A real team playing for each other. Selles has made a massive difference to us.
