We may not have much choice, if Bissouma's out.
Postecoglou could go with Bergvall and Sarr though, I guess.

Just seen George Abbot scored another banger on loan today as well. No idea what his ceiling is. But could be exciting for us.

That would still give us 10 years of a potentially top footballer though and that’s only a worst case scenario that he gets burnt out at 28 (not forgetting it’s unlikely we’d keep him that long anyway).

If a player’s good enough they’re old enough for me, cliched saying and all but I stand by it. Both he and Bergvall could very well be regular starters before the end of the season, that’s partly on how bad more senior players have been but also down to their own ability.

This is the thing with Porro, ( and a few others), if we adopted Amorims 3-4-2-1 we would have a decent squad. It would suit Porro, Udogie, Bentancur, Maddison, and Kulu so much better than the system Ange insists on playing.

We can't afford to buy him either.

With PSG desperate to sell, because that's all they can do, there's a reasonable chance we can make a pisstake offer and they'd have to accept it

It has to be said we struggle to keep 2 fit so 3 would be a push, but a fully fit selection of the ones we have would do ok as a 3, and would have to do less mad running back hopefully!

Frankly, I'm just glad the talk of Bissouma playing CB seems to have vanished

    Can't think why...

Levy pretends we don`t have any money, we will have the money to buy players if they really wanted to.

Depending on if it’s the truth, they may not be desperate as I read that they’re looking at recalling a keeper they sent out to the third division in order to then facilitate the Muani loan.

I reckon Ange would find a way to make two of the CBs play as wingers.

Amorim? Why would Spurs adopt that style? What have I missed?

We all know nothing is changing

but I enjoy reading the ‘if we do this or that’ posts.

    My other favourite one is

‘Hopefully Levy has learnt his lesson and we can…..’

We simply don't. I've explained this many times. The new stadium has increased our net spend by about £100m a year but the loan covenants are a hard limit on that. We will have some wiggle room because no-one will run a business right at the limit but I doubt we can spend more than 50m max this window.

Feels like back then when I was wondering:

“Will Winks ever pass a ball forwards?”.

Right, what strikers are available then?

Paul O’Keefe’s confirmed the rumours that Solanke is injured. He’s not put a timescale but others are claiming 6 weeks.

Who’s looking forward to Millwall away next year then?

it’s beyond a joke now. If yet ANOTHER injury doesn’t result in some signings, we might as well write off any January window in the future, too.

you’d have to wonder whether a lack of outfield players through the door now for Ange, is Levy basically already thinking about sacking him and not wanting to sign anyone that another manager wouldn’t want. Maybe levy is already thinking about these 2 potential cup exits we have coming up, and views spending money now as too much of a risk/problem.
