Their owner will have made those comments because he would have known we are planning on recalling him. Saints wouldn't mess with a players future because of one comment at a fan forum, and as others have said, that would have happened way too quickly.
Well in that case, something's gone on behind the scenes with Rohl. If we were always planning on recalling him, we'd have done so way earlier than this - we're over 2 weeks into the transfer window. It's a decision that's been made very recently for one reason or another. IMO something has clearly happened behind the scenes. Either that or we've received a big offer for him.
It is a strange one. It could be something as simple as us being tight and wanting them to cover another couple weeks of his wages before recalling him. But it could be transfer related, maybe we were looking at another DM which fell through. Maybe we were hoping we would have got rid of Cornet and loan in a DM.
Maybe Juric has realised how light we are in that position, isn't convinced by Aribo playing there, or Lesley is being recalled ... plenty of possibilities that could've only manifested recently

Meghoma gone from Brentford to Preston on loan. Still interested to follow his development, particularly as LB has been a problem position for us. Only just noticed that Ipswich have indeed signed Philogene for £20m too.
