Just one of those days, anyone who’s coached any level knows you have sessions or games where just everything goes out the window and nothing goes right.

Literally from Hall getting run in the first min to the goal in the last min of injury time - nothing went our way. Even our goal was lucky.

Luckily we have a few games to start a new run before playing Arsenal in a few weeks, can’t afford that type of performance against them so better to get it out the way today, get back on the training pitch and re-double our efforts.

 

Nah, I mean you can start a sentence with "if Newcastle can just win this game....." then end with anything from "they'll set a new record" to "they'll win a long awaited trophy" and you nailed on know we'll bottle it.

 

Part of the issue today is that we don't have a plan B for when our tactics don't work due to the other team

I'm just trying to laugh that performance off tbh, it was comically bad.

 

You didn’t say cement mate get it right. All teams can lose these games, always have. Not like they are bottom of the league. Clearly like the players you underestimated then.

 

That's not going to change and unfortunately due to PSR they can't phase out the players that just aren't very good.

We were playing a top team so it’s a big game. Come on man we were playing the mighty Bournemouth not West Ham.
