What? We were clearly the more professional team. Had more chances, controlled most of the play, should really have scored 3 at least. We actually seemed to play a different type of game today. Very strong, commanding defending. Ilias Chair, for some reason, was just not on form today. Obviously, he got the assist but was a very simple pass. Smyth definitely man of the match today. Looked quality, got a lot of things right, was switched on all the time. This was one of those games were he pulls the rest of the team with him. Jimmy Dunne also excellent today. Even Fox actually getting more or less everything right under pressure. Not sure about our decision to let them come onto us for the last 15 mins but Marti obviously feeling confident we can do that and get it right. We did have several counter attacks out of it.
No teams below us with games in hand that can see them go above either. Still looking forward to having enough points so relegation is not a threat.
