After defeat in the FA Cup third round, Norwich City return to Championship action with a trip to face Sheffield United at Bramall Lane on Saturday, January 18 (KO 3pm). Norwich have taken 10 points from their last four Championship fixtures, starting 2025 with two wins - away at Luton Town and in dramatic style at home to Coventry City.

Quite an unbelievable amount of injuries to our central midfield options again, 6 out of the 8 senior options ruled out. JHT has said "There will be two or three players that will be on the bench for the first time this season." If we want to continue with the 3 in midfield the only real options are Mclean, Marcondes and Schwartau/Fisher.
The Opposition
Sheffield United are showing no hangover after finishing bottom of the Premier League last season. They've cemented their place among the top three since a 2-0 win against Blackburn Rovers in early November. Just Burnley and Leeds are ahead of them, one point separating all three, while there is an eight-point gap from fourth-placed Sunderland down to Rovers in fifth.
The Manager
Chris Wilder
Chris Wilder was reintroduced to the club for his second spell as manager after also having two stints at Bramall Lane as a player. He was unable to keep them away from relegation last year but will now be hoping to seal a second promotion to the top tier having guided them from League One to the Premier League in his first managerial spell.
Positive vibes!!!
ON THE BALL CITY!!!
