I still want Isidor to play at Derby he is a great player and other teams might slip up

 

We've played 5 games against the top 3, W2,D2L1 not a bad return, shows we can match them

Yeah. Need to sort the left side out. Agree with Mepo too. Be gutted if thats anything more than a week or so out.

 

We set a standard last night and must keep it up the rest of the season, it’s easier when teams don’t park the bus mind. Elf in the middle use Rigg and Mayenda as impact subs and Adil on the left until we have Mundle or Watson back. We’ve got to be more clinical with our finishing though.

I think Wilson let the game get to him last night like. Seemed to blast everything he had. Every shot took the back of the ball off instead of composed, clinical strikes.

 

Agree totally. It was no coincidence that when he was missed those 3 games our midfield was decimated. He is a player and a half. The lad will go far...

 

Absolutely. I can not believe how much he has come on this season like. Different level. Still filling out too. Pure beast.

 

Love watching him glide around the pitch, turning players inside and out. Just think sometimes his ball transition was a little quicker but heh the lad is still learning, love him though.

 

As much as last night hurt I think it’ll be a massive learning curve for him. His all round game is pretty good but a bit more calmness on the bread and butter chances and he’ll fire is to the PL.

 

I hope so. I like him. He has a lot going for him, but I agree. The calmness is the thing that he needs.

 

Just on this, I do back him to continue scoring a decent about of goals for us too. RLB needs to pick a designated penalty taker mind.

 

Listening to their players at the end, saying they were the better team is bollocks. We should have won that imo. Penalties? **** happens. They've got some absolute arrogant players. Hated the way they behaved at Blackburn with the corner flag and such. Have some respect. Last night they celebrated after luckily imo. gaining a point.

I think those few posts are likely fairly tongue in cheek but the board from about 9:40pm is absolutely shameful. Our own fans wishing season ending injuries on our own players (Isidor), all and sundry being called worst than ****e and an avalanche of self pitying melodrama.

A lot of posters saying how the club/team are embarrassing and a laughing stock. The only laughing stock are our (online) fans going on like we’ve been relegated to League 1 rather than sitting pretty near the top of the table against all odds having just been the better team against a side that most of those posters have said are light years ahead of us (mainly also said in self pity and as a way of knocking the club). It’s been picked up by other clubs’ fans, hence why I’ve ended up reading it in the first place.

I find it utterly depressing.

Mind, there’s a small handful of posters on here that I’m never sure why they don’t post over there where their views and posting style would be a much better fit.

 

A lot of football 'fans' are the same these days, they live by every moment on the pitch and expect players to be perfect

They expect every player to want to come and play for their club, and think their clubs are bigger than what they are. They think the minute a player signs he has to be a superstar immediately, not realising how long it takes to adapt to a new team/city/tactics etc.

I went through a patch thinking it was just our fans, or should I say a small minority but it's every club

I get a lot of info on Hearts stuff from my mate and some of the stuff their fans come out with is hilarious and so deluded

Social media has just made it worse these days, so many football expect about these days

 

What's your thoughts on RLB post match thoughts on pen takers. Seemed very random to me. No on field taker that's designated ?

 

Think we have a great balance over here to be fair. Usually can debate and make points for and against.
