Of course he didn’t miss on purpose but to take it twice and take exactly the same penalty is crazy.
Not to mention the 1v1. Your 9 should have no problem scoring from 12 yards whether the keeper is pissing about or not. I said a few matches ago he only scores worldies and misses easy chances and you said but the xG data says he doesn’t and he does well for how many chances he gets. That tonight was proof that the data doesn’t always paint a clear picture. Maja would’ve had a hat trick tonight.

nah that’s nonsense, sorry. But we can agree to disagree.

no keeper is getting sent off for that.

people are placing their frustrations in the wrong place.

Of course not. This is sport. Big highs and lows. After missing 3 very big opportunities to score the blame lies at his door. He needs to come back from it.

We need to sort pen strategy out though.

    What a missed opportunity.

You're absolutely right BTW. The reason why he is here is because he is inconsistent. Mad player to watch. Tonight was everything bad about him for me.

Good performance. Not gonna talk too much about the decision to let him take the second, but it was a better pen than the first. Good save - albeit he should have had cards for both bouts of time wasting. Le Fee looks like he’s gonna be incredible. Mayenda did well when he came on. Defence did well against a rival. More evidence that RLB just doesn’t like subs. Bit sore right now but will prove to be a decent point.

Probably one or two on here should get back to supping and stay away from posting, mind.

We hadn’t missed a pen in yonks now we are pipe at them.

We haven’t actually got anyone who consistently hits the ball clean, when you think about it.

If Isidor had scored the second one we’d all be praising his bravery. Shame he couldn’t execute.

Bang on. Any keeper with common sense does it, the best of them make players wait and try to get into their head. And I’d want Patterson to do it too. Absolutely ridiculous to blame the keeper cheating for why we didn’t take the 3 points.

We didn’t lose, he took over 5 minutes for the penalties. Great for them but the referee has to nip it in the bud for the first one

Rigg drops to the bench for me next game.
It's no different to when our lot praise O9 for doing the same.

Wilson seems to be too emotional at times. We need a cool head taking these penalties.

Mind it should have been a red rather than a penalty for the 1st.

Burnley treat a game as not getting beat rather than trying to win a game. ****e in my opinion, would hate to watch that week in week out
