Rumours over the road of 50k a week wages for Cannon? Probably bollocks but if even close to that then they can definitely have him. He's a decent player but no way is he worth the money being suggested
Wouldn’t surprise me if that was the case. again. A massive risk… if they don’t go up. They will loads of players on wages like this
£15m up front, with no condition on promotion is madness. Obviously Cannon would be an excellent option either alongside Wilson or just to switch it up but I'm certainly not gutted if we don't sign the lad. Wilson is a better striker anyway and if we can create better opportunities for him, and he stays fit, we'll be in and around the automatics. Mayenda will come good eventually and this Frigan sounds a handful. Glad we are ran by sensible owners and RLB isn't a gobshite like Wilder.
Found it! I mentioned something about Barnsley pissing themselves if we'd draw with Portsmouth. Bear in mind my name was Mr 55p way back in April'19. Monty - Mr 55p See me pissing myself and Barnsley drawing, us winning and onto the amazing end to the season. Bogle a key player could be missing for them(Pompey). Come on Blackpool ! i also worry that coventry can still make the play offs if only just so also come on Doncaster as well. Me - Got a mention from Monty!!!!!! In your face the lot of you !!!!!!!!
New owners want to make a statement and be seen to back the manager, then make stupid short term decisions to get the fans on side. Promotion attempt based on sand and not sustainable
FFS Cannon never made it at Everton, never made it at a very poor Leicester and had hardly set the heather alight at Stoke ****ty. Add to that a £15m transfer fee and £50k a week in wages, I’d say we’ve dodged a bullet, though I for one never see the hype about him. HAWAY we can do better for less. Bart
50 k a week way too much then, Mundle is better than all these mentioned and Isador the best in this division, if we had no injuries this team would win the title, Roberts, Rigg, Jobe, Neil and now Le Fee in midfield, now if we could get Diallo back on loan from man U lol i would say we would sell out every home game left and go up.
His record has done nothing to earn those wages, wilder said this morning everyone wants to play for Sheffield United, I'm.not suorised if they are paying double what players want. I'd be more impressed if Cannon turned down the wages and came here to prove himself
Shows the mess the parachute payments make of the championship. I understand players chasing the money, but at some point don't they wish they were playing every week?
You’d like to think so but when you’ve got academy players at top clubs earning £20k a week where the drive coming from?
I know mate, thankfully we seem to be very good at picking up those youngsters that want to play and improve rather than sit on their arse
