We would only be paying that if we were promoted and have an alternative lined up with the same kind of option. For 4 months, I'd be happier with an abundance of strikers than too few. We've seen that Mayenda is often used off both wings and Frigan seemingly has the ability to play off the right too. I'm getting ahead of myself but if we went up this season, I wouldn't think Mayenda or Abdullahi would be ready for that level and loan moves where they play every week would be far better for their development than sitting on the bench. So in that scenario, Riis would be a perfect signing to be maybe 3rd choice behind Isidor and Frigan and play minutes from the bench without limiting the development of our young talents.
