This seems the most likely outcome of it all for me. the fact he’s told them to take it down as it was just banter tell’s you that the messages are genuine, then he’s obviously screenshotted it and sent to someone shows that it’s clear the messages mean something. stitched his mate right up and is rightly embarrassed about it.
