If anyone wants some potential help with their prediction for this, Dominic Calvert-Lewin hasn't scored in his last 16 games... So yeah... you know what that means.
Well, this is getting to be a bit of a strain now! I’m grateful to my Pacemaker for keeping me on track! I’m really hoping that this weekend is the turning-point in our season. When we get some of the players back from injury it’ll make a difference, not least because it will enable rotation in key areas (not that that is a particularly noteworthy strength of Ange!), and give a breather to some of these young guys who have commendably been holding the fort for too long. I guess this is quite a serious song, but it seemed to be expressing how I’m feeling right now. One too many losses to be borne (I even write in the song’s rhythm now, it seems!). Despite defeats, I’ll follow Spurs and pray they’ll rise up high, If I must wait, still hope I see it long before I die. Some fans show disaffection ’stead of showing faith and love: Their loyalty is not like mine, it’s like a flimsy glove. Once more beat the Toffees – let them know! Once more beat the Toffees or we’ll go To the struggle below! Our manager’s an Aussie, and a winner, too, by trade. He knows just how to pick and choose young guys who’ll make the grade. He oversees my Tottnam, blunt-speaking but not rude; His plan, is pretty clear - but still gets misconstrued! Once more beat the Toffees – let them know! Once more beat the Toffees or we’ll go To the battle below! I sometimes see a future detrimental to my health With our young players all rejected on the shelf. My devotion knows no limits: eighty years have made it stark! But of course it’s being tested, and this weekend could be dark…. Once more beat the Toffees – let them know! Once more beat the Toffees or we’ll go To the battle below! Prediction: Everton 1 Spurs 3 Scorers: Solanke, Spence, Bergvall Cheers, Spurf!
