Tbf, would take that. I hope Maguire is fit and he plays with De Ligt, rather than Martinez. The main hope we have is those two playing a high line, and Sulemana still remembering how to play football. He’ll scare them with his pace if so.

Keep it tight in the first half and then go from there, the longer we can keep it 0-0 the better. Frustrate them and their fans will start getting twitchy and the pressure will build as they are on a historically poor run of home form. If Downes isn't fit to start I hope we pack the midfield.
Just listened to post Cup Adam & Joe Interesting, as always They surmised that performance v a good Champ team indicated that we’re a very good Champ team and may also have improved with our Prem experience … … and that this demonstrated how big the gap * is and that whoever comes up this season is going to really struggle * Most players are now internationals and most subs actually are too

Sad to see us having to play two right backs because neither are good enough, can’t understand why KWP isn’t at rb, Manning (been very good when played) at left back , then we could play an extra midfielder to try and control that important sector
It frustrates me too and since KWP is one of the few players we have that deserves to play at this level, he should always be played in his best position. I think Manning is capable of being a solid LB if he doesn't get too exposed (unfortunately RM's style of football did not help that).
